Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Doozies

Remember the Fudge Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting that I tempted you all with? Yeah, I thought you might remember that gorgeous little piece of confection.

Well, I had a little bit of that delicious peanut butter frosting left over after I’d made the cake. Yes, once again, I made more than I needed. I could easily have just made another fudge cake to go with it, but I decided to do something else with that extra frosting I had on hand. I’d made some of Little Buddy’s favorite chocolate chip cookies a few days earlier and knew just what I wanted to make — chocolate chip peanut butter doozies.

Oh yeah.

Just the name got me all excited.

Hello there, sweet little cutie. You sure do look mighty delicious. But hey, I think you need a little something extra right there around your middle. It’s looking a little bit naked.

Oh yes, chocolate chips look really good on you.

You look so elegant now.

Not that you didn’t look great before. But now? Well, you look like you are all dressed up for a party.

I love chocolate and peanut butter. Those look dangerous but in an incredibly awesome way. My niece and nephew would think I’m the best aunt ever if I made those for them.
