Your Personalized Recipe Box at Add a Pinch

It is a bit like Christmas has arrived just a little bit early around here, y’all! I’ve got something that I’m really tickled to show you that I think you are just going to love!

You can now have your very own personalized recipe box at Add a Pinch!

 

How to Save Recipes to Your Personalized Recipe Box

 

 

You’ll now see a “Save Recipe”  button at the top right corner of recipes on Add a Pinch. This magic little button allows you to easily save all of your favorite recipes from Add a Pinch right to your very own electronic recipe box!

This is a tool that many of you, including my Mama, have been requesting! I worked with Ziplist to make it happen!

You’ll also find an updated “Print” button up there. Now you’ll be able to print just the recipe! I thought you’d like that, too!

 

Personalized Recipe Box

 

 

Once you’ve added your favorite recipes to your recipe box, you can even further organize your recipe box by tagging each of your recipes with your favorite keywords. For example, if you want to organize your recipes for an upcoming holiday meal, you might tag that Southern Caramel Cake with a tag “thanksgiving” or something similar.

Then, when you are ready to head to the grocery store, click on the tag for your Thanksgiving recipes and just add them to your shopping cart!

How cool is that?

 

Shopping Lists

 

 

 

You can see above where I tested the shopping list out with my Aunt Ellen’s Southern Sweet Potato Pie recipe. It sorted all of the ingredients into the proper ingredient category to make it even easier when shopping!

 

How to Access Your Recipe Box and Shopping Lists

 

There are a couple of ways for you to easily access your personalized recipe box and shopping lists.

 

Add a Pinch Menu

On each page of Add a Pinch, you can access your personalized recipe box and shopping lists by hovering over the Cooking menu on the top right of your screen. You’ll see links to the Recipe Index, Recipe Box and Shopping List.

When you click on Recipe Box or Shopping List, you’ll personalized information will display on the screen.

 

Free Mobile Application

 

Guess what? There is indeed an app for that!!!

One of my favorite features is that you can access your Recipe Box and Shopping List while you are on the go!

How convenient to be able to open up your favorite recipes right on your cell phone when you are cooking or out and about? But even better is being able to use your Shopping List right on your phone while you do your shopping!

 

So, go create your personalized recipe box and add your favorite recipes! I can’t wait to hear what you think about it!!!

Please note that I am in the process of updating many of the older Add a Pinch recipes to include the “Save Recipe” functionality. If you find one that does not include it that you need, please contact me and I’ll get it to the top of the list for you!
