So, today is my birthday and my husband and son have been spoiling me all weekend. Favorite movies, meals, and men in my life – how could it get any better.
I’ve been scratching my head trying to figure out something fun to give YOU for my birthday, and finally decided on this gorgeous Kitchenaid mixer. She’s sleek, beautiful, and I absolutely love her glass bowl.
I don’t have this particular Kitchenaid, but my husband and his brothers and sisters gave one to my mother in law for her birthday last November and she absolutely loves it.
I’m sort of jealous when I visit and see things whipping around in that gorgeous glass bowl.

My favorite cake is a classic angel food cake with chocolate chip cream cheese frosting.
I just followed just a pinch on pinterest. I just moved into a new home with my boyfriend and do not have a mixer. I love to bake and would love to win this mixer so I could bake tasty treats again!

I make one that has dark chocolate cake, vanilla bean cake, chocolate chipp cookie dough, brownie, and cream cheese frosting. All of these yummies are in fact layers of the cake!!!!
My favorite birthday cake is basically any cake that I get to make and watch the birthday person enjoy! I love love love baking and enjoy making cakes. I love getting to see the birthday person’s reaction! And to enjoy it too! I love to receive a cookie cake for myself

Happy Belated birthday, Robyn! My mom has been making the same strawberry cake for my birthday going on nearly 35 years….when I was 5 I requested a “pink” cake – and have been requesting that same cake ever since. Deliciously sweet – still my favorite even after all these years!

Oatmeal cake with broiled pecan/coconut topping
My absolute favorite birthday cake would be scratch made white cake with vanilla/almond butter-cream icing, simple yet so good. Add some homemade vanilla or cherry ice cream, that’s the ultimate! Scratch made baked goods are the best presents, because someone thinks your special enough to bake for you!!
