Peach Tea Recipe from addapinch.com

I love a tall glass of iced tea, especially when it begins getting warm and humid outside. You know, the sort of day that when you open the door to walk outside, the wall of heat that greets you takes your breath away? And, within five steps you feel like you’ve just stepped out of the shower the humidity is so high. Well, even though we are just in the month of June, we’ve already had a few days like that. It makes me cherish the days with breezes and afternoon showers even more!

But along with hot, humid days, summer also brings so many of my most favorite things. Like trips to the lake, making ice cream as often as we can throughout the week, fresh tomatoes, peaches, and blackberries, basil growing rampant in my garden, and cooling off in the sprinklers after my walks. Gosh, I sure do love summer.

I love to make fresh peach tea to help celebrate a little bit of that summertime, too! The heady scent of the peaches just makes me smile and relax. I know just like the peaches season, summer and the time we have together is a gift to enjoy. It is perfect when entertaining or just to kick that summer family meal up to a whole new level. But seriously, I like to drink a really big glass of it in the late afternoons on the back porch with a good book or doing absolutely nothing.
