Bacon wrapped pork tenderloin makes for a tender, juicy and delicious pork tenderloin recipe. It is a family favorite meal!

Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin Recipe from addapinch.com

I’m always looking for a new way to add a little excitement and change up some of our favorite dishes – especially meat. You see, Sam’s love for carbohydrates and sweets is very similar to my own, but he gets easily bored in the protein department. So… we like to keep things fresh in that department!

I can always depend on him to devour pork tenderloin and his love of bacon is well established around this house.

When he and his buddies are together and bacon is involved, you better triple the amount of bacon that you think is even reasonable to prepare. Teenage boys. I’m not sure where all that food goes!

So, I knew that this bacon wrapped would be happily received at my table!

It is fairly simple to prepare. The presentation is beautiful, but the amount of work that it takes to get that end result is kind of like cheating. I begin with a pork tenderloin and about 4-6 strips of thick cut bacon, depending on the size of the pork tenderloin.

I cut my bacon slices in half and then wrap them over the top of the pork tenderloin, being sure to tuck the ends underneath.

Then, I just sprinkle on salt, fresh cracked black pepper and a little garlic salt and pop it into the oven for about 45 minutes.

It’s delicious with a large salad, roasted vegetables or, if my son is choosing, a huge serving of mashed potatoes!

Here’s my Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin recipe. I hope you love it!
