Taco dip makes a simple, delicious dip recipe perfect for your an appetizer or when entertaining.

I love dips and this taco dip recipe is absolutely one of my all-time favorites. Taco dip is perfect for tailgating, game day, Halloween parties, or just because. Meaty and flavorful, it’s one of those dips that folks like to dig into!

And let me let you in on a little secret – the guys love it.

It’s really simple to make, too. Which makes it even better in my book.

Start by browning your ground beef.

Sprinkle in some taco seasoning mix .

I’ll leave it to you to adjust to how spicy you like it. If I’m making this for a large group, then I only add a little bit of the taco seasoning mix. If it’s just for my family, then I like to add more. For the recipe, I’m going to give you the mild version. Just know that you can increase the amount of spiciness just like you would with making tacos.

Mix your drained ground beef with cream cheese.

Oh yes!

Add in some grated cheese and your favorite salsa.

Mix until well combined and then you are ready to serve.

This is a wonderful make-ahead recipe, too. Prepare your taco dip up to a day or two before your party and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Then, just allow it to reach room temperature for serving.

You can top this dip with a diced tomato for a beautiful garnish. I know to leave it off if I have picky eaters coming by.

I think you should make it really soon and enjoy every last bit of it with your family!

I hope y’all enjoy this taco dip recipe as much as we do!
