Cornbread Waffles have to be one of my favorite things in the whole world. Seriously. They are so easy to make and perfect for serving with a ton of different dishes. And, it doesn’t hurt that Little Buddy has always thought they were the coolest thing ever.

Which means he’s always eaten them and whatever I serve with them! Score!!!

They are delicious served on the side of a big bowl of soup or chili and you can even cut them into cornbread waffle sticks so they are perfect for dunking. Oh man are they delicious.

    1. Hi Karen,
I have a recipe for how to make self-rising flour that might be of some help.

  1. I’ve always made these with Jiffy mix for my family and they’re a hit. I can’t wait to try it with your recipe. I’m sure yours are much better!

  2. Picture doesn’t seem to match list of ingredients? Shows corn and something green in the picture of the waffles? Love corn bread so do intend to try the recipe!

    1. Hi Emma,
In the text, I mentioned that the photographed cornbread waffles included jalapenos and cheddar cheese. Hope that helps!

  3. I love how easy this is. I’ll be making these for sure. We love cornbread in this house.

  4. Robyn,
I’ve never had cornbread waffles before. The hubby isn’t a fan of waffles but maybe I can change that with these. They look delicious.
