America the Story of Us Book

We absolutely love the DVD series America the Story of Us and I was delighted when we received a copy of the book on the same series.

The book is simply beautiful.

With gorgeous photography and illustrations provided on every page, it keeps both of us in rapt attention. It’s actually one of Little Buddy’s favorite books to read now.

I don’t know about you, but when my son’s favorite book to read is a history book, I get pretty excited.

Since we’ve been studying about American history, the details on Lewis and Clark provided excellent reinforcement on materials we’d studied from our history books.

And the illustration showing the travels westward by American pioneers helped tie it all together and made perfect sense to Little Buddy.
