Do I have a giveaway that I think you are going to LOVE!
I have used Mary Kay cosmetics for some time and absolutely love it, so much so that I wanted to share it with you.
But there’s a little story that goes with it.
My Mama started me using Mary Kay when I was 13 years old and I used them throughout college. When I started working and had a bit more spending money, I thought I should be more like my girlfriends and head to the nearest mall for my skincare and makeup. I would try skin care from one brand, the hottest eye shadow from another, and then lipstick, blush, and mascaras from whatever my girlfriends recommended or I saw in that latest magazine.
But y’all, I’m getting older. My skin is changing and more fine lines and wrinkles were showing up overnight it seemed. I looked in the mirror and all 30-something years + were right there looking back at me – and not in the way that I wanted them to be.
I was also tired of spending so much money on lotions and potions that just weren’t cutting it.
I decided to go back to Mary Kay to minimize those fine lines, handle the pigmentation of freckles and the sun damage from years of being out in the sun without proper protection, etc.
I wish I had taken before pictures without my makeup on. I think it would have convinced even the biggest cynic, but y’all are just going to have to believe me when I say over the next three weeks and then three months, I couldn’t believe the difference.
So much so, I decided to sell it!
I’m not necessarily selling it for the money (although that part has been impressive), I truly love it and knew it would be a lot of fun to share with my friends.

I use mainly the blackest black mascara, looks real nice. But there are some low key days when I want something softer so I’ll do brown liquid eyeliner with a dark brown mascara, or a plum. A little different!

Brown – because black makes me look like a racoon – just too much.
