2012 has been filled with wonderful, gorgeous cookbooks – many of them from people I am proud to call my friends.

It really is a great feeling to see people you know and admire have their hard work and dreams come to reality. However; many of these friends never set out to have a cookbook with their names on them. Their cookbooks were really borne from sharing what they love on a regular basis with their friends, family, and readers of their blogs.
Their joy for cooking and sharing their stories are contagious. They are each gifted with the ability to bring individuals virtually into their homes and kitchens to cook right along with them on a regular basis.
There are so many more cookbooks than those I’ve featured that I have truly enjoyed this year, but those mentioned have become favorites in my home and that I have given and plan to give to friends as gifts.
Speaking of gifts, I want to share these favorites with you, too.

I would love to be able to sit down and read the Pioneer Woman sometime. Though I’ve never seen her show I do follow her on fb and look up her recipes from time to time. It seems like it would be a good read.
