Dutch Oven Giveaway

My Dutch ovens and I are the best of friends. For real. They have my back and are some of my favorite cookware to use for soups, stews, braising meats, and so much more. As a matter of fact, at least one of my Dutch ovens stands at the ready on my cooktop at all times.

So, I thought I’d share my love for Dutch ovens with you all, too! I just can’t get over this pretty Caribbean Blue color. Isn’t it gorgeous? Wouldn’t it be beautiful in your kitchen, too?

I do believe it would!

My friend John makes an amazing Guiness stew in honour of St Patricks Day. I also like the old family stew that is made with coffee, Alberta beef, and fresh veggies from the garden including carrots, onions, potatoes and beans. Of course a handful of fresh herbs are thrown into the pot. This recipe has been passed down and there really isn’t a recipe for it. it changes depending what is in the fridge or garden. Yum!!!!

Gorgeous pot! I share your love for cast iron, I rarely cook with anything else. I have several Lodge pieces and have used them almost daily for about four years, so this piece would be a very welcome addition to my set.

My favorite stew is good old fashioned beef stew, though now and then I like to add a pack of curry. Now I’m hungry.
