Fondue Pot Love

A couple of years ago, my dear friend Amy and her family gave my family a fondue pot for Christmas. I have to tell you, it was one of the best gifts I’ve received in such a long time. I use it for so, so much more than just fondue. Although, I do use it for that as often as I can!

You see, I also love to melt chocolate and dip all sorts of delicious things into it. Pretzels, marshmallows, cookies, fruit, you name it, it has probably had a dunk into the ol’ fondue pot of chocolate.

So, since Valentine’s week is just around the corner and my fondue pot hasn’t left my counter in over a week, I thought it would make a perfect giveaway!

My husband makes the most wonderful BBQ smoked pork ribs. Better than any resturant. He will make tham for me for Valentines day or any other day I ask for them. It takes him 3 days to make them and they are wonderful. Would love to win this fondu set – love chocolate strawberries. Yum! Thanks CJ

I’m a newbie in the kitchen so I don’t really have to many favorites! I love to make chicken fajitas and I try desperately to make my mother in laws gravy for pasta but I think my favorite Valentines day meal would have to be a romantic pepperoni pizza with the pepperoni in the shape of a heart. No fuss, no mess and you can eat it in bed if you have to. hehe

I try to do something ‘fancier’ than normal….beef tenderloin, shrimp scampi, creme brûlée. This year, I had actually planned on fondue, so this would be perfect!!

My favorite Valentine’s Day meal starts with a few raw oysters, then filet steak for entree and end with something chocolate for desserts. I think your foundue pot would be perfect for a chocolate fondue! How romantic! :)

Have you ever tried bonde calde, an italian fondue, in your fondue pot? It’s one of my favorites, but my pot is broken…would love to win a new one! Happy Valentines Day!
