Harry and David Tower of Treats Giveaway

Gift boxes would start arriving around Thanksgiving and continue on until right at Christmas. Daddy would give boxes and boxes of presents to his clients throughout the holiday season and, thankfully, he’d also receive them. Later, as I was responsible for marketing for a mid-sized company, I was also responsible for sending gifts to our clients. I always depended on Harry and David as I knew the quality of the gift would be superb, the packaging would be beautifully and carefully done, and the delivery was impeccable.

So, Harry and David has always been the gold standard for gift-giving in my family.

When I was asked by Harry and David to consider giving away a gift to one member of the Add a Pinch family, I was thrilled. Even though I immediately replied that I would be delighted to, I had a hard time choosing just which gift I wanted to give. You see, each and every package from them is gorgeous and filled to the brim with deliciousness.

Finally, I chose the Tower of Treats Classic. It includes so many boxes of delicious goodies, that I knew you’d be just as excited as I would be to open each of the individual boxes to see what was inside. And, if you wanted to share a few of the little boxes with friends, it would be easy to do as well.

My favorite gift that I’ve received: When my husband and I were dating, he surprised me by buying a huge Christmas tree and all the decorations and setting it up to surprise me. He doesn’t care for Christmas, but he knew how much it meant to me so he went through all that trouble and expense to make me happy.

The best gift I’ve ever given would probably have to be a blanket that I crocheted myself…I had just learned, so it wasn’t exceptionally pretty, but a lot of love went into it!

My favorite gift I’ve ever received is a hand-carved wooden manatee. I’ve been a manatee lover since I was a child and for my 20th birthday, my best guy friend (who I was secretly in love with) whittled me a manatee statue. I’ve never been more touched by the thoughtfulness of a gift. Great giveaway!

My family gave me a Kitchenaid commercial size stand mixer for Christmas a couple of years ago, and I LOVE it! I use it for my holiday baking, as my standard mixer can’t handle the larger batches of cookies and sweet rolls.

My favorite gift I’ve ever given was a pair of monkey slippers. Sounds funny, but the reaction from the gift recipient (my exchange student) was priceless.

My favorite gift was from my husband. We lived overseas at the time and somehow he got a new sewing machine all the way over the ocean without my knowing it ! I’ve have never been so surprised on Christmas day ! In thirty years of marriage, I’d never had a new machine. I was thrilled !

My favourite type of gifts to receive is something handmade. My most fave gift is a snowman mug a niece hand crafted from clay – she was 5 years old.
