My family loves to eat fish, even Little Buddy. His favorite sandwich besides peanut butter and jelly is a grouper sandwich that he just can’t get enough of during the summertime, especially.

At least once a week, I make some variety of fish for supper. Tilapia recipes have always been some of our favorites. Of them, this tilapia recipe has definitely been a go-to lately. It’s ready in no time flat and is perfect for those busy weeknights when we’re rushing from one thing to another. I dare say that I’ve found it to be quicker than a drive thru line during the week.

I love to serve this tilapia recipe over a bed of succotash if I have some left over from a night before or if I have a little bit more time to prepare supper. They are absolutely perfect together.

Instructions 

  • Drizzle olive oil into a large skillet over medium-low heat. Place skinless tilapia filets into skillet and sprinkle with Stone House Seasoning and lemon zest.
  • Cook for about 4-5 minutes and then carefully flip to cook the other side for about 4-5 minutes, until fish is golden brown.
