Few recipes come together as quickly as shrimp and grits. I generally have all of these ingredients on hand in my pantry or in my freezer and within minutes, we have a hot, delicious dish that rivals any I’ve enjoyed at a restaurant.

As a matter of fact, these shrimp and grits come together so quickly, I sometimes serve them for lunch if we’ve been stuck in a “what’s for lunch?” rut. Do you ever get into one of those ruts? Well, this recipe will surely get you right out of it!

Here’s how I make my Shrimp and Grits recipe.

  1. Count me in, Robyn, on this superb version of one of my favorite comfort foods. I’m going to suggest to my husband that he skip buying chocolates for Valentine’s Day today and make this instead. Oh boy!

  2. Yum! I really wish my husband liked shrimp… I will have to make this when he isn’t around 🙂

  3. Of course this through-and-through Southerner loves shrimp and grits! So easy and so delicious. They’re always a big hit at brunch.

  4. I love grits and feel so sorry for my husband who never grew up with them. He also doesnt like shrimp or crawdaddies. But that’s okay…more for me.

  5. Mmmm, I had my first Shrimp & Grits in Tuscaloosa this summer and it was everything I thought it would be and more! Mine had sausage in them though, but i’d happily take bacon too!
I may need to make this for myself!

    1. It is great with sausage, too but I my favorite includes that bacon. Can’t go wrong with bacon! 🙂
