  1. 5 stars
This recipe was so delicious. You are one of my favorite go to when i’m “in a pinch” :). I saw that i had chicken and bacon available and immediately thought of you to get a recipe from.
My husband and boys made sounds while eating that had me doing a double take from the kitchen, lol.
The only one thing i did differently was leave the chicken in longer than usual d/t the bacon not being done. I was so scared that the chicken would dry out , but it didnt. I ended up cooking it for an hour and than at the last minute turned on the broiler to crisp up the bacon. Do you think i should turn up the heat to 400 degrees next time?

    1. Tamika, if you live at a high altitude, it will take longer for the food to cook but I wouldn’t think it should take that long. I would not increase the heat to 400ºF. Once the chicken reaches 165ºF internally, if the bacon is not done, I would turn on the broiler then to crisp the bacon. Hope this helps. I’m so glad your husband and boys loved it.

  2. Good flavor with the marinade, but the bacon was way undercooked! It’s a good thing I tried this recipe tonight- I was planning on preparing this for guests larger this week. I did follow the recipe except I baked the chicken in a Corningware dish to accommodate the delicious marinade. I definitely wouldn’t say it made a sauce.
    I’m open to suggestions!
