To make perfect egg salad sandwiches, begin by making hard boiled eggs. I share how to make them in the Instant Pot as well as the classic hard boiled egg recipe on the stove top that I’ve used since high school.

Then, spread your egg salad onto your favorite sandwich bread. For the bread, I love to use a good sourdough bread. It is also delicious if you have lightly toasted it as well.

  1. This is how I make my egg salad sandwiches too. I add finely cut green onions to mine. They are sure delish. Thank you for posting so others can learn. Good use for leftover Easter eggs too. In your instructions you say to peel the eggs and add them to a boil. I think you meant add them to a bowl. It threw me off for a minute. I love your recipes and the step by step pictures. Thanks!

    1. Thanks, Dolores, for the heads up about my typo in my post. I have now corrected it so maybe no one else gets confused. Also thanks for letting me know you like the step by step photos.
