How to Make Teriyaki Salmon Recipe

Ingredients

Be sure to see the recipe card below for the full listing of ingredients, instructions, notes, and estimated nutritional information.

Salmon – I use a whole salmon filet that is about 2 pounds.

Teriyaki sauce – I used my homemade teriyaki sauce in the recipe, but if you prefer, you can use your favorite store-bought sauce. I love being able to control the ingredients as much as possible.

Seasonings – black pepper and garlic

Step-by-Step Instructions

I use the same method for baking the teriyaki salmon that I do for my super simple baked salmon recipe. It always produces a tender, moist salmon that isn’t overcooked. The flavor is out of this world!

  1. Prep. Preheat oven to 425º F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Bake the salmon. Place the salmon, skin side down, on the baking sheet. Spread teriyaki sauce over the salmon, making sure to coat well. Sprinkle on pepper and garlic. Bake until the salmon has cooked through, about 12 to 15 minutes.
  3. Serve. Cut into 4-6 pieces, discard the skin. Serve with additional teriyaki sauce.

To store leftovers. Place the salmon in an airtight container and store it in the coldest part of the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
