Today is the day that one of my close friend’s book releases! Bridget Edwards of Bake at 350, releases her second cookbook all about decorating cookies that are perfect for a party.

Decorating Cookies Party from

I’ve always been in awe of Bridget’s artistry and then through the years we’ve become such good friends, texting each other for no apparent reason other than we saw a cardigan, lipstick, or a pair of shoes that we thought the other would like or something as significant as we would love prayers to help us make it through a particularly tough spot. She is as fun, loving and gracious in person as you would think she is just from reading her blog and she shares her talents with us all, holding our hands through making something that just seems unattainable to accomplish actually doable and fun! I love that about her!

In her latest book, you’ll find over 50 designs for special occasions based around 10 themes – from tailgating, Halloween celebrations, birthdays, and showers and weddings to name a few. When I received her book, I poured over it again and again trying to find the one design that I loved best. While I couldn’t find just one that was a favorite, I couldn’t help but fall in love with the Princess Face Cookies. I know that any little girl would adore having these for her birthday party. What am I saying? I’d love to have them, too!!! I could just go on and on and on about each of her designs, but I think you need a copy for yourself!

So, to help celebrate Bridget’s book launch today, I’m having a fun giveaway celebration.

  1. My faaaaaavorites (homemade, store bought ‘knock-off’ or the real deal) are the Samoa or Caramel deLites, if you wish, Girl Scout cookies- HANDS DOWN!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. My favorite cookie is the sugar cookie! but chocolate chip cookies are less work so I usually make those. ๐Ÿ˜›

  3. I’m not sure I ever met a cookie I didn’t like, but among my favorites are the classic chocolate chip cookie with walnuts as well as my MIL’s mamool, a date-filled cookie dusted with confectioners’ sugar. Yum!

  4. My favorite cookie and the easiest to make is the 3 ingredient Peanut Butter Cookie.. sooo easy to make a batch in minutes and very yummy.

  5. My favorite cookies are strawberry shortcake cookies. The sweet dried strawberries and the white chocolate chips combo are the best!

  6. My all time favorite is chocolate chip! Even if I see a picture of a chocolate chip cookie I am more than likely going to be making them that night!

  7. Robyn,
I love pizzelle. My Grandmother always made the best and now I do too. You definitely need a workhorse mixer to make them.
    Thanks for the lovely giveaway.

  8. My favorite cookies are the little Italian cookie that you make in a circle and put a plain icing on and sprinkles! The nice thing about these cookies are that you can change the flavor, orange, lemon, anise…it all works…some people call them angelette, but we call them Sister Ann cookies, cause we use Dom DeLuise’s recipe for them, and that is what he called his recipe…Google it Robyn, it is a good recipe!!

  9. Goodness! My favorite cookie would have to be the triple berry oatmeal raisin cookie. I love having it filled with golden raisins, dried cherries, cranberries and blueberries. Its kinda a twist I put on the classic oatmeal raisin cookie that even gets people who usually hate that cookie type to eat em!

  10. My favorite cookie is the good ol’ fashioned chocolate chip. Really, can you beat it? I’ve spent a lot of time perfecting it over the years, and love adding just a pinch of ground pink sea salt to the tops of mine. Warm out of the oven, there’s just nothing that compares!

  11. My favorite cookie is one that my Great Grandmother used to make for me – a sugar raisin cookie. I have no idea why they always tasted so good, but I can remember my mom bringing home a ice cream bucket full of them — and I wouldn’t let anyone else have any!! They were soooo delicious!

  12. My favorite cookies to make are cutouts, but my favorite cookies to eat are any cookies my mom makes! (or anyone else for that matter…I do not discriminate against cookies!)

  13. My favorite are a good ole chewy chocolate chip cookie.

I will be making my dad’s favorite cookie tonight for his birthday tmr! Those are pecan thumbprints ๐Ÿ™‚

That mixer would get lots of use at my house! And those cookbooks would also!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  14. Naming a favorite cookie? Inconceivable- but I’ll try. I’ll give you my top 3 – chocolate chip, sugar cookie, and speculoos. Please don’t be mad, toffee chip, snickerdoodle, and mocha!!!

  15. My favorite cookie would have to be chocolate chip, but I’m pretty much a fan anything named: ______ cookie! Thanks for the chance to win such a fantastic prize. Also, nice to meet you:)

  16. My favorite cookie is my grandmother’s butter cookies. These are little melt in your mouth, crispy, butter cookies. She would make these by the dozens but they did not last long! Now I make them for my family with fond memories of her.
