The first week of my 365 day photography project, Project 365, has already shown me that I have a ton to learn!
- I’ve sat with my camera’s manual more this past week than I think I have since I first got my camera back in May. And that’s a good thing.
- I’ve called my friend Amy, who has mad photography skills, for advice and wished she could just come to my house for a few days until I understood the camera settings and lighting to use in my house a whole lot better.
- I’ve stalked Flickr and all the gorgeous, creative, inspiring photographs shared by so many uber-talented people — photographers and just average folks, too.
- I’ve read through all of Darcy’s 31 Days to a Better Photo posts (more than once for most posts, I’ll admit) to grab as much of her wisdom as possible.
- I’ve considered putting my camera back on the magic P from time to time just to get the shot for the day. {But I didn’t let myself!}
At the end of the week, I’m still just tickled that I’m intentionally taking more photographs of my everyday life. Otherwise, I would have missed this.
Are you taking more photographs this year? What have your learned? {Please share, I probably need to learn it, too!}
I’m doing Project Life for my 365 photos and have so far not taken very good photos. But it’s hard taking good shots with indoor lighting (it’s freezing cold outside here). I have had my camera 1 year and have SO much to learn! I’m like you, I’ve done all the same things you have done. I keep telling myself to just take photos, capture memories, and not to stress.
That photo you posted is awesome! Good work!
Darcy’s photography series changed my camera toting life! I love her!
Just beautiful!
I am doing the Project 365 and have taken a photo each day but sorry to say I have been on the green box… I got a new camera for Christmas and still learning all about it. I am stepping out this next week. 🙂 Your photo is beautiful and look forward to seeing your 365 photos this year!
🙂
Blessings and Joy!!!
