Can you believe that Valentine’s Day has crept up on us? It just seems like the other day that I was putting away the last of our Christmas decorations. Oh wait… I was. Don’t tell.

Anyway, since Valentine’s Day is now upon us. I thought I’d share a few quick-fix Valentine’s Day menu ideas. These are some of my favorite recipes that definitely do not taste like you’ve waited til the last minute to think about a meal for Valentine’s Day OR wish you’d just made reservations.

These Skillet Steaks with Gorgonzola Herbed Butter are a definite favorite around here. So juicy, delicious, and absolutely on my must-make list for my Valentine!

Mercy! I might be more excited about those steaks than I should be!

The recipe is for four steaks, so just adjust accordingly. {wink}

Rosemary Potatoes Recipe | addapinch.com

These rosemary potatoes go perfectly with my skillet steak, too.

The cooking time is the same, so you’ll just pop these in the oven as you are prepping for your skillet steaks.

Of course, if you’d rather, since it is Valentine’s Day and all, you could make THESE instead.

Loaded Smashed Potatoes | addapinch.com

Calories don’t count on Valentine’s Day, do they?

These loaded smashed potatoes just take a few more minutes than the steak and rosemary potatoes, but believe me – they are worth it!

Now, all you need is something green. Just toss together a quick salad and enjoy!

For dessert, I have a few options for you. Here are some of my favorites that can be ready in less than 20 minutes.

Chocolate fondue is a fun, romantic dessert just perfect for Valentine’s Day. It only takes a few minutes to have your chocolate fondue just right for dipping all sorts of treats like strawberries, pineapple, cookies, pretzels, etc.

Strawberry Angel Cake from addapinch.com

This Strawberry Angel Cake just takes five minutes to throw together. Seriously! Five minutes! But you know what, your sweetie will never know that you didn’t spend hours making this dessert!

I hope you’ve found something that caught your eye for a quick Valentine’s Day menu that doesn’t taste or feel like a thrown together hodge podge sorta meal. If you are looking for more ideas, check out the Valentine’s Day category under the Recipe Index. It’s full of great stuff. YUM!

Love ya bunches!

  1. I have made your loaded smashed potatoes a few weeks ago, and LOVED them. Your steak is looking fabulous too. I make roasted potatoes with garlic and parsley, so I am looking forward to trying your rosemary take! Enjoy your Sunday!

  2. These all look so fantastic and festive! That Strawberry Angel Cake will definitely be making an appearance on my Valentine’s Day menu!

  3. The Strawberry Angel Cake that just takes five minutes…that’s my idea of a dessert. Love that one!
