Slow Cooker Giveaway from

As I’m cleaning out cabinets, clearing out the clutter and tidying up around the house this past week, I’ve come to realize (once again) that there are some items that just take up more space than they are worth.

Like that 5,945th chip and dip bowl set that we received as a wedding present that still hasn’t been used or the box of cloth remnants I have been saving since the beginning of time to “one day” make that quilt. They deserve better homes than mine. They deserve to be in a home where they’ll be loved and cherished, not shoved to the back of the cabinet on the very tip top shelf.

I’ve also realized (once again) that there are some items that I never ever ever, like ever want to be without.

Like my 5,945th cast iron skillet. I’ll gladly find space for them even if I have to begin storing them in my oven like my Grandmother.

I’ll also always make room for my slow cooker. It truly is a parent’s best friend.

I’ve written about my love for it on more than one occasion, but if you need just one reason to fall in love with it, it would be this.

Yes, 50 Slow Cooker Suppers that I think your family will adore!

So, since I love mine more than any chip and dip bowl set I’ve ever seen, I decided you might love one, too!

  1. Your Chicken Enchiladas look delicious!! Would definitely be the first meal I prepare if I were to win the slow cooker! Yumm.

  2. Mississippi Pot Roast. This is one of my family’s all time favorite meals. There’d be no better way to break that new crockpot in than to put smiles on their faces!!

  3. Chuck roast with carrots, mushrooms, potatoes, pearl onions in cream of mushroom soup & beef broth with garlic and some rosemary and sage in a garnish bag … fresh green beans stirred about in an hour before serving. I can smell it already!

  4. Our favorite dinner in the slow cooker is “White Chicken Chili”!! It ‘s delicious and fills my kitchen with wonderful aromas!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Perhaps a great cold weather meatloaf, or maybe ribs, or chicken and dumplings, or Turkey noodle soup, or …….. so many choices and so little time!

  6. I work from home. And I eat low-carb. So I’ll fill up my slow cooker with chicken and eat on it for several days, especially those days when I’m working on a daily and barely leaving my desk chair. ๐Ÿ˜‰ With that said, I may find something new to make when I check out your slow cooker recipes! ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. The pulled pork with root beer , I have made it several times and it’s always a hit with my bunch. A new slower cooker would be great.

  8. I’d probably make chicken and dumplings or a soup (wedding)! Slow cookers are so wonderful with a family and not a lot of time.

  9. That’s a hard choice – depending on the weather, either a big pot of potato soup or a nice rump roast with potatoes, carrots, and onions. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks for the opportunity!
