Simple Roast Chicken Recipe

This easy roast chicken recipe is made with three ingredients! Learn how to roast a chicken that is tender, juicy, and delicious!

– Whole chicken – Olive oil – Stone house seasoning




Preheat the oven to 425° F. Arrange the oven rack to the bottom 1/3 of the oven.

Pat the chicken dry with paper towels, place the chicken into a skillet or pan, and truss (if trussing).


Rub the olive oil over the whole chicken. Sprinkle with the seasoning and press into the chicken.


Season the chicken

Place the chicken into the preheated oven and roast for 15 minutes per pound, until the chicken is crispy, golden, and registers 165° F when when checked with an instant-read thermometer.


Roast the chicken

Remove the chicken from the oven, tent with foil, and rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
