Simple Smashed Potatoes Recipe
This Smashed Potatoes recipe makes one of my favorite potatoes recipes. So easy and everyone loves these simple smashed potatoes!

Ingredients

pounds
red potatoes
scrubbed

tablespoons
butter
1/2
teaspoon
kosher salt
1/2
teaspoon
ground black pepper
1/2
cup
milk
Instructions
Place red potatoes in a large pan and cover with water.
Bring to a boil and cook for 20-25 minutes until very tender.
Remove from heat and drain remaining water from the potatoes.
Using a potato masher, begin to mash potatoes, but do not mash until smooth.
Add in butter, salt, pepper, and milk. Stir until all is well-combined.
Serve warm.
