Southern Ham Biscuits
Southern ham biscuits make a delicious recipe. These ham biscuits are perfect as appetizers when entertaining or for a family brunch.

- buttermilk biscuits
- 10 slices ham sliced, cut into 2 " pieces
- 12 slices cheddar cheese cut into fourths
- 4 tablespoons butter softened
- poppy seed spread optional
Prepare southern buttermilk biscuits according to directions.
Cut biscuits with 2" to 2 1/2" biscuit cutter.
Split biscuits, spread with butter, place cheese slice, two to three ham pieces, topped with another cheese slice.
Serve with optional poppy seed mustard spread.
Note: I prefer to use Virginia or a Smithfield ham that has been baked and sliced.
