This recipe comes to me from my sister-in-law, Karen, whom all of the children have called KK since they began babbling as babies. She is a fabulous cook and always makes the best recipes – from Paleo recipes for her husband to recipes just like this one that her three boys love. Seriously, what’s not to love about this pie!

- 1 graham cracker crust
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup pecans
- pinch of salt
- Preheat oven to 325º F.
- Mix together eggs, sugar, flour and vanilla until just well-combined. Stir in melted butter followed by chocolate chips and pecans. Pour mixture into graham cracker crust and place into oven. Bake 35-40 minutes, until pie has lightly browned and set in the center. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before serving.
