This cherry white chocolate chip cookies recipe makes a delicious cookie recipe to add to your collection. Full of delicious dried cherries and white chocolate, these cookies will become a favorite.
Cherry White Chocolate Chip Cookies. Oh my goodness are they delicious! The dried cherries give them the perfect little bit of unexpected tartness that makes them such a memorable cookie that you just can’t stop thinking about them after you’ve had one.
Or maybe that’s just me.
So simple to make, these cherry white chocolate chip cookies are ready in a few minutes and make your house smell heavenly.
They include the regular cast of characters that I use in my cookies: butter, both brown and granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour, sea salt, a little baking soda. But then, these basic cookies are kicked into overdrive when you add in the white chocolate chips and dried cherries.
You know, the cherry white chocolate chip cookie dough makes an excellent dough to mix up, bake a few for yourself and then bake the rest for friends and neighbors. They work for so many holidays and celebrations with their beautiful red and white coloring, too.
Here’s my Cherry White Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe for you. Hope you love them!

I’ve grown quite fond of dried cherries. They’re so perfect in cookies.
Lovely recipe! I’v never added cherries to cookies before. Yum!
Love dried cherries and love this recipe! Can’t wait to make them. Thanks!
Chocolate and Cherries is the perfect combo for cookies… or anything else, in my opinion! 😉
you’re right!……….we were on the same track with our cookies today! lol These look delicious Robyn!
These look simply delicious! I love the combination of flavors in this!
What a fab combo – sweet and tangy.
We love cherries, white chocolate and cookies, so I have no doubt that we will love these amazing cookies. They sound fantastic.
Oh these look good! White chocolate is a FAVE of mine. I use it as often as possible!
Looks fabulous – we love white chocolate 100% times more than actual chocolate.
Oh my, those cookies look so delicious. I never thought of using cherries before but they look just like chocolate chips. I’ll have to try this this weekend.
Oh my! Those look scrumptious Robyn 😀 I need a batch asap.
Looking for cookies like this forever! Thanks!
I did not like mine. They were to strong with vanilla and white chocolate not enough of a tart flavor
Just made these and they are absolutely delicious! Made with Traverse City dried cherries, of course. 🙂 Thanks for the recipe!
This is exactly what I was looking for. I added more chips and dried tart Montmorency cherries from Costco. I used 1 tsp. almond rather than vanilla and chilled the dough before baking. Perfection!
Fantastic coolies!! I used Hawaiian Black Sea salt to make it even more gourmet!! So good😉
Yum! I’m so glad you enjoy them, Jill! xo
Hi–where did you find your dried cherries? I bought some at the grocery store, and they taste great but they are large and very dark purple, rather than the beautiful red in your cookies! Thank you–I didn’t see this recipe until after I made a batch but I am going to use yours next! Your recipe is exactly the same as the one I used but twice all the ingredients! one more question–why the sea salt instead of just plain ? Â thank you–you are a very gracious person and I love your website!Â
Hi Laurie,
