These No Bake Granola Bites are perfect for breakfast, a snack, or a sweet treat on the go! // addapinch.com

It is no secret that my guys love camping. This summer, they have two week-long trips planned to be one with nature while I’ll be here at home being one with electricity. Don’t get me wrong, I think camping is awesome, wondrous, adventuresome, and any other adjective that you can throw in there that means good things. But, for me, personally, my form of camping is in the motorhome. I’ll admit it. I’m a wimp and I’m perfectly okay with that. Thankfully, Bart and Sam are perfectly okay with my wimpy nature, too.

But, to show some semblance of remorse at not packing up a tent and heading out there with them, I try to send them off with homemade goodies when they leave. Because, well, it is the least that I can do. Over the years, I’ve gotten good at making treats that I know will keep well while still being absolutely delicious. That’s where these no bake granola bites come into play. Technically, they could make them themselves while they are out, but that would stop all the fun of me sending them with them.

These little granola bites are packed with good stuff, too. Oats, nuts, chocolate, nut butter, honey – you know, the essentials. Ha. In just a little bit, I can whip up a batch of these babies, pack them up and send them on their way. But, thankfully, these little granola bites aren’t just for campers! I like to keep a little stash of them around for a quick grab and go treat or even for breakfast with a cup of coffee. Hey, don’t judge!

Here’s how I make my no bake granola bites. Make ’em soon! Tent camping not required, but definitely optional! ๐Ÿ™‚

These are perfect energy boosting treats. A delicious snack that I packed for a hiking-picnic. My loving hubby & I really enjoyed – and needed – these after a rather strenuous hike to our perfect picnic destination. Thank you!

  2. Lucy says:

    Hi Robyn,

love the look of these. Can I use peanut butter in this recipe or what ‘nut butter’ do you recommend?

    xx

    1. Robyn Stone says:

Absolutely. I use a natural peanut butter or natural almond butter mostly. Hope that helps and that you love them!

  3. Flat Fee MLS says:

    5 stars
We like to make then for when we are walking on the trails. Great portable snack.

  4. Maria Ribas says:

“Being one with electricity” — I laughed out loud at that! ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Carrie says:

These look delicious! Do you leave these out on the counter, or store them in the refrigerator?

    1. Robyn Stone says:

I leave them on the counter in an airtight container. They disappear fairly quickly! Of course, they will be fine stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container as well. Either way works fine.

  6. Jocelyn (Grandbaby cakes) says:

These are exactly what I needed when I went exercising today! They look wonderful.

  7. sandra rice says:

This looks great! Love all the ingredients – so I believe this will make a great snack ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. Karen @ On the Banks of Salt Creek says:

We love to camp as a family (tent camping) but since we’ve moved to the homestead we really can’t leave the animals. Michael and the boys will go without me once or twice a year. I plan all their meals and make what I can ahead of time so at least they are not eating Top Ramen all weekend (gross).

Hopefully some day we will find some responsible young person to watch the animals while we are gone. Then we can all go camping together.

I’m always looking for snacks for the boys (always hungry yet still so skinny….not fair) I’m sure these will be a hit.

  9. Kate @ Framed Cooks says:

I feel EXACTLY the same about camping…and I think these would be just as delicious enjoyed on the sofa with the AC on. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ll do a test and let you know!
