Red Velvet Cake Milkshake Recipe

This Red Velvet Cake Milkshake makes the perfect sweet treat to share with your Valentine. And when I say share, I really mean you have one and they have one. Not sharing as in share one milkshake sort of situation. Even though that’s cool if that’s what you like to do, but I like to have my own.
I have this bad habit of asking for a sip of my husband’s drink and then before I know it, he’s looking at me like I have two heads because my little sip wasn’t so little. So, sharing is definitely caring (as they say) but in this instance, I recommend making one for each of you. It’s just less complicated that way.
To make these red velvet cake milkshakes, I prepared a pan of red velvet cake cupcakes using this red velvet cake recipe, without the frosting. Then, once my milkshakes were ready, I broke the cupcake into large chunks and gently stirred it into the milkshake. Perfection.
Then, you’ll have the remaining cupcakes to eat alongside the milkshake. How smart is that!
Here’s my Red Velvet Cake Milkshake recipe. They’ll be perfect for your Valentine!

Would this work with already frosted cupcakes? I have some that are already frosted.
I haven’t tried this with a frosted cupcake, Chloe. The milkshake may be a little sweeter than you want.
