I love citrus juices this time of the year. They are an instant pick me up with their bright flavor. The other morning, I looked over at our fruit bowl and noticed I had a large bag of tangerines that I would make the perfect little breakfast treat. So, I made this delicious tangerine julius that you all have just got to try.
In less than 5 minutes, I had my tangerines juiced and ready to star in this delicious breakfast drink.
I added a little milk, sugar, vanilla, and some ice to my blender and watched the ingredients quickly become this frothy, magical consistency that had my kitchen smelling like the moment on Soaring at Walt Disney World when you fly over the orange groves. {I can’t get enough of that part!}
So, the next time you are in the grocery store, pick up a bag of tangerines and make this tangerine julius for breakfast the next morning. Better yet, make it for your next special occasion like Valentine’s Day, a birthday, or anniversary. You will love how special your morning feels!
Here’s my recipe.

yum!! i tried it but substituted mandarin oranges. maybe that was the problem because i think i used about 20 and came a little shy of the 1 1/2 cups. it was tart so i added another almost 1/4 c of sugar. the texture and foam was perfect, even the flavor was almost exactly like the old orange julius drink. to die for. next time if i use mandarins i will add more milk and ice and sugar but i will try to get tangerines or juicy oranges.
My littlest chickadee would love this drink! Cant wait to make her one.
I loooove tangerine juice and this julius makes me want to cry. The tangerine season is over and I have to wait to try it. Looks delicious!
Mmmmmm, I just happen to have a bunch of tangerines on hand right now!
I love it, and I’m sure the tangerines made it even better!
This looks refreshingly delicious. I cannot wait to try it.
This sounds so refreshing! Need to make a store-run and pick up some tangerines and make some of these soon!! Thanks, Robyn!
I love that you used Tangerines instead of plain ol’ oranges. This sounds amazing!!
I’ve got everything on hand to make one of these (or two). Looks like the perfect post-exercise thing for me, and the kids would enjoy it after school.
Oh yes! It makes a perfect little treat after exercising and Little Buddy sure likes it!
So yummy sounding! Love this!
