My family loves green beans and this easy recipe is absolutely one of my favorites! So quick and easy to make and ready and on the table in 15 minutes!
Yes, you read that right. 15 minutes!
The green beans are cooked until they are just tender, but still crisp! Then, you simply remove the skillet from the heat and top them with the dill herbed butter and serve!
The flavor combination is absolutely out of this world and pairs perfectly with everything from baked chicken to baked salmon and even juicy baked pork chops orย pot roast!

Skillet Green Beans with Dill Herbed Butter
Ingredients
- 1 pound green beans, ends trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
For the Dill Herbed Butter
- 4 tablespoons salted butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 bunch dill, , fresh, minced
Instructions
- Pat green beans dry with a paper towel and set aside. Drizzle olive oil into medium skillet set over medium heat. Add green beans, kosher salt, and black pepper. Cook the green beans until they are just tender, but still crisp, tossing the green beans occasionally using tongs. Remove from heat.
- Meanwhile, cream together butter, salt, pepper, and dill. Spoon the Dill Herbed Butter onto the hot green beans and serve.
