Bacon Wrapped Asparagus Recipe from addapinch.com

If you need a new way to serve asparagus that is sure to get your kiddos to devour it, then this just might be what you are looking for. For years, I could depend on Sam gobbling up asparagus any time that I served it, but then, for some unknown reason (teenage years – cough), he began getting picky about it.

So, I did what I always do when that happens. I added bacon.

Seriously though, if there is one thing that I can depend on it is his unwavering love of bacon.

The bacon adds another delicious, salty, rich flavor to the asparagus that makes it irresistible, even to my son who isn’t so sure about asparagus at the moment.

Here’s my Bacon Wrapped Asparagus Recipe. I think you might enjoy it, too!

The flavor was amazing, but the bacon didnโ€™t crisp up the way I wanted by the time the asparagus was nearing being over cooked. My boyfriend, however, loved it (but he also enjoys his bacon on the chewier side)

      Hi Amanda,
I’m glad you enjoyed the taste! If you want your bacon a bit crispier, you could either bake it a bit longer or you could pre-cook your bacon a bit before wrapping around the asparagus to bake. I hope this helps! Thanks! xo

  2. Debi Short says:

We served this today and the family reviews were very positive. The asparagus was just right after 15 minutes at 425F, but the bacon was underdone. Next time I plan to precook the bacon about halfway before wrapping half-slices around three stalks each. I think it will be tastier for the bacon to be crispier.

I’m so glad that everyone loved it, Debi. I love the idea of cooking the bacon a bit before wrapping around the asparagus. xo

  3. Michael G says:

How do you cut 9-10 pieces of bacon in half and end up with 6-8 pieces? Wouldn’t it be 18-20?
