Bacon Wrapped Asparagus Recipe from addapinch.com

If you need a new way to serve asparagus that is sure to get your kiddos to devour it, then this just might be what you are looking for. For years, I could depend on Sam gobbling up asparagus any time that I served it, but then, for some unknown reason (teenage years – cough), he began getting picky about it.

So, I did what I always do when that happens. I added bacon.

Seriously though, if there is one thing that I can depend on it is his unwavering love of bacon.

The bacon adds another delicious, salty, rich flavor to the asparagus that makes it irresistible, even to my son who isn’t so sure about asparagus at the moment.

Here’s my Bacon Wrapped Asparagus Recipe. I think you might enjoy it, too!

  1. Mike Joyce says:

Iโ€™m pretty confused how you take 9 to 10 bacon slices and cut them in half to make 6 to 8 pieces?

    1. Robyn Stone says:

Thanks, Mike. It should be 3-4 pieces of bacon. Hope you enjoy!

  2. Jo Dains says:

Just a question, can I wrap my asparagus with the bacon and then freeze them using the food saver?? Both the asparagus and bacon would be uncooked.

    1. Robyn Stone says:

Jo, you will need to blanch your asparagus before you freeze. I would not freeze uncooked asparagus and bacon together. Hope this helps.

    2. Jo Dains says:

Robyn, Thanks for the response. I decided to go ahead and cook the Bacon Wrapped Asparagus and then freeze them using my food saver.

  3. Lorraine McFawn says:

I’m attending evening party and I would like to know if I can bake the wrap ahead of time at least 2 hours would it keep its flavor or would the asparagus go all limp ?

  4. Lauren says:

What else would you recommend wrapping the asparagus in aside from bacon? What would work for non bacon eaters? Thanks!

    1. Krista Larragoitiy says:

      Turkey bacon
