This homemade Frappuccino is a delicious cold coffee drink that’s so simple to make with this recipe! Make this favorite frappuccino at home with just four ingredients and optional toppings!
This frappuccino recipe comes together in a few minutes with only four basic ingredients. It’s a creamy and delicious blended iced coffee that is popular in coffee shops but is so easy to make with this recipe. And if you love a little extra decadence (and who doesn’t?) top it with a large dollop of my whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate for the ultimate coffee drink!
Frappuccinos are one of my favorite coffee drinks, but I rarely visit coffee shops, so I created my own recipe to make at home. I actually like mine even more, and I make it about two minutes.
There’s nothing like making this frappuccino on a warm day – or any day that you want it!
Make this decadent coffee drink at home in minutes with just four simple ingredients. You can then choose optional toppings to personalize it. Here’s how you’ll make it.
Ingredients
To make this amazing frappuccino at home, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- Ice – I recommend using crushed ice. If you have ice cubes, just place them into a zip top bag and carefully break the ice cubes into smaller pieces with the back of a spoon.
- Espresso or Strong Coffee – this is the key to a delicious frappuccino! You can use a home espresso maker or just brew very, very strong coffee to use instead.
- Milk – use your favorite half-and-half, milk or milk alternative (soy, almond, oat milk, etc).
- Sweetener – use your sweetener of choice from granulated sugar to sugar alternatives such as stevia, honey, etc.
- Optional Toppings – Whipped cream and chocolate syrup bring that coffee-house style fancy coffee drink right home!
How to Make Frappuccino at Home
- Blend together ice, espresso (or strong coffee), milk, and sweetener until well blended.
- Pour into a tall glass and top with optional toppings of whipped cream and chocolate syrup, if using.
- Serve immediately and enjoy every sip!
Here’s my Frappuccino recipe that rivals any that you can find anywhere else. I hope you love it!

Oh boy — if it wasn’t my bedtime I’d be trying this right now!
I want the machine and the frappuccino! Really that looks like a wonderful treat!
I saw this on my Instagram feed earlier and I couldn’t wait to jump over and get the recipe… it looks amazing! Can’t wait to have a sip!
Oh gosh, does that ever look good! I adore your straws you used in the picture too!
I love frappuccinos. Honestly, I love most of the fancy coffee drinks. But I’m just too thrifty to purchase them very often. It’s just amazing how much people will pay for those drinks when they can be made for pennies at home! Great recipe as usual, Robyn, and a real money saver, too!
my mouth is watering Robin!!
Wow. Your frappuccino looks like perfection. Well done, and enjoy the gorgeous espresso maker.
Hi I have a frappacino maker. My one problem is that I have lost the directions. I know I need to brew the espresso. I just don’t remember how I mix it all up. It’s been a few years since I’ve used it. Any help appreciated.
Mary, check online or call company that made your machine. Many of them will have the user guide accessible online or if you call, they may email them to you. Hope you get the information you need.
This looks amazing Robyn! I absolutely HEART my Saeco Xelsis it definitely gets a workout! I’ll be making this frappuccino soon!
That is one gorgeous coffee drink. I could use a tall one right now!
