With this Honey Mustard Chicken Thighs recipe, you’ll simply add your chicken thighs to a rimmed baking sheet or do like I like to do and toss them into your skillet.

Then, simply coat them well with the honey mustard dressing that I shared with you yesterday. Remember it? Oh you just need to make a batch of that stuff so you have it on hand for just such occasions as making these chicken thighs.

In less than 30 minutes, you have these delicious, tender, juicy, amazing Honey Mustard Chicken Thighs that will absolutely disappear before your eyes.

If you’d like to make this a one skillet supper, you can easily add in quartered red potatoes and carrots to the skillet as you pop it into the oven. All of the elements of the dish should be ready at the same time, you’ll just want to check for doneness by piercing your potatoes and carrots with a fork to make sure they are fork tender.

Ingredients

  • 4-6 skinless chicken thighs
  • 4-6 teaspoons honey mustard dressing
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400º F. Place chicken thighs into a skillet or rimmed baking sheet. Place into the preheated oven and roast for 22-25 minutes, or until internal temperature registers 160 - 165º F.
  • Remove from oven and serve immediately.

Notes

For a quick pan sauce, utilize pan drippings. Simply remove the skillet from the oven and place on your stovetop over medium high heat. Add in diced onions or minced garlic and parsley. Reduce by half until the juices have become thickened and syrupy. Remove from the heat, add salt and pepper to taste and drizzle over chicken as it is served.

    1. Hi Jeanette,
I don’t marinate the chicken at all for this recipe. It is one of those – “oops, I forgot to prep supper sorta dishes!” 🙂

  1. This recipe looks great- however, I live in Ontario, canada and have not found honey mustard dressing
even in our large Super Store. Can you please tell me tell me the amounts of honey and mustard used?
can I use regular yellow mustard since I don’t care for dijon type.
    Thank you.

  2. Can chicken breasts be used in place of thighs. Will it taste just as good and for how long should I bake them? Thanks so much!

  3. What do you do with the dressing? Do you put it on the chicken before roasting? After? The instructions don’t address this, and I’m a derp when it comes to the kitchen! I can’t function without directions… unless I’m making a peanut butter sandwich.
