Honey Mustard Chicken Thighs make a quick, family favorite meal. This delicious chicken recipe is on the table in 30 minutes and perfect for turning into a one skillet meal!
These Honey Mustard Chicken Thighs have just got to happen at your house soon. I mean soon! Tonight would be a good time, even.
The recipe for them really couldn’t be any simpler to make either. Which probably makes me love them even more.
Are you like that?
You really love the taste of something, but then you remember how dad gum simple it was to make and automatically it just sky rockets to one of your favorite things to make?
Well, I sure do.
Those recipes that require little effort on my part but deliver tons of deliciousness when I serve them to my family are definitely the ones that I turn to more often than not.
With this Honey Mustard Chicken Thighs recipe, you’ll simply add your chicken thighs to a rimmed baking sheet or do like I like to do and toss them into your skillet.
Then, simply coat them well with the honey mustard dressing that I shared with you yesterday. Remember it? Oh you just need to make a batch of that stuff so you have it on hand for just such occasions as making these chicken thighs.
In less than 30 minutes, you have these delicious, tender, juicy, amazing Honey Mustard Chicken Thighs that will absolutely disappear before your eyes.
If you’d like to make this a one skillet supper, you can easily add in quartered red potatoes and carrots to the skillet as you pop it into the oven. All of the elements of the dish should be ready at the same time, you’ll just want to check for doneness by piercing your potatoes and carrots with a fork to make sure they are fork tender.
Here’s my Honey Mustard Chicken Thighs recipe. I can’t wait to hear how you love it!

Can chicken breasts be used in place of thighs. Will it taste just as good and for how long should I bake them? Thanks so much!
This recipe looks great- however, I live in Ontario, canada and have not found honey mustard dressing
even in our large Super Store. Can you please tell me tell me the amounts of honey and mustard used?
can I use regular yellow mustard since I don’t care for dijon type.
Thank you.
Hi Fran,
I have a honey mustard dressing recipe that I use with this chicken. Here’s the link:: https://addapinch.com/cooking/2013/04/24/honey-mustard-dressing-recipe/#.Ud3hQ1N5Hx4
You can easily use regular mustard with it. I do a good bit.
These thighs look perfect ๐ I love honey mustard!
These look great, Robyn! Sounds easy and looks delicious! ๐
Good and Easy. We eat thighs often so I appreciate this recipe. Thanks Robyn. Have a wonderful day!
Do you marinate the meat in the sauce? Or just spoon it on before placing in oven?
Hi Jeanette,
I don’t marinate the chicken at all for this recipe. It is one of those – “oops, I forgot to prep supper sorta dishes!” ๐
I freaking love mustard and chicken together!!
Yum!! Love how easy it is!!
YUM!! Love these flavors!
You always have the best dinner ideas!!!
