How to Make Easy Hot Honey Firecrackers Recipe

- Crackers – you’ll need about 80 saltine-type crackers.
- Olive oil – I use extra-virgin olive oil. You can use your favorite neutral-flavored cooking oil.
- Ranch Seasoning Mix – use my homemade recipe or your favorite store-bought mix
- Stone House Seasoning – my homemade seasoning blend of salt, pepper, and garlic.
- Hot Honey – I love to use my homemade hot honey recipe, but you can also use your favorite store-bought brand.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Add the saltines to a large mixing bowl or a 1-gallon ziptop bag. Stir together the olive oil, ranch seasoning, stone house seasoning, and hot honey. Pour the mixture over the saltines and turn them to make sure they are well coated. Allow the saltines to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Arrange the crackers on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
Recipe Variations
Alabama Firecrackers Recipe. Omit the hot honey and substitute with 2 tablespoons of red pepper flakes.
Oyster Firecrackers Recipe. Substitute two packages of oyster crackers for the saltines called for in this recipe.
Storage Tips
To store. Place into an airtight container and store at room temperature for up to a week.
To make ahead. These crackers are the perfect make-ahead snack! Prepare as directed and cool. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
To freeze. We do not recommend freezing these crackers as they become soggy and aren’t as delicious.

- 2 teaspoons Ranch Seasoning Mix, homemade or storebought
- 1 teaspoon Stone House Seasoning
- 2 tablespoons Hot Honey Recipe, homemade or storebought
Instructions
- Add saltines to a large mixing bowl or a 1-gallon ziptop bag. Stir together the olive oil, ranch seasoning, stone house seasoning, and hot honey. Pour the mixture over the saltines and turn them to make sure they are well coated. Allow the saltines to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
