Learning how to easily peel garlic is one of those major ah ha moments in the kitchen. Well, at least it was for me.
I use garlic in so many savory recipes that sometimes, it is just great to have peeled garlic on hand that I can just grab and go for super quick meals — or when I’m feeling extra lazy.
Wanna know the secret?
Well, today is your lucky day. Here’s my little tip on how to easily peel garlic.
- garlic bulb
- Wrap the garlic bulb in a damp paper towel and place into the microwave. Microwave on high for 15-20 seconds, then remove from the microwave and rub lightly with the paper towel. Garlic cloves with easily emerge from their skins.
- To store: place in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for later use.
