Meal Plan Tips:
Saturday:
Brown Sugar Salmon and Vegetables: Such an easy, favorite dish from my cookbook! I’m all about finding ways to make life simple any time, but especially here just a few days before Christmas! I’ve started prepping for Christmas dinner (see my plan listed Christmas Day), so I especially love that tonight’s meal cooks all in ONE pan! ๐
Sunday:
Slow Cooker Beef Bourguignon: Absolutely scrumptious comforting dish everyone loves, yet it’s so simple to make in the slow cooker! To make it even easier, I like to prep the ingredients the evening before if I know that Iโll have a busy morning the next morning. Then, all I have to do is remove the slow cooker insert container from the refrigerator the next morning and pop it into the slow cooker, set the time and go!
Monday:
Chicken Tortilla Soup: My recipe includes instructions to make this three ways – the stove top, slow cooker, or Instant Pot – but today I’m making mine in my slow cooker.
Tuesday – Christmas Eve:
Christmas Eve with family tonight.
Cinnamon Rolls: It’s a part of our Christmas tradition for Bart and Sam to make his cinnamon rolls today so that they are ready to enjoy on Christmas morning. Santa loves them too! They taste amazing, so I hope that if you have never tried them, that you give them a whirl! There is a step by step video with the post that shows exactly how to make them.
Wednesday – Christmas Day!
Make Ahead Christmas Dinner Menu – Iโve shared how to make all of the dinner โ from appetizers to dessert โ in stages ahead of time so that Christmas dinner is stress-free and I can spend time with my family! My make ahead plan includes this succulent Prime Rib that’s so delicious and really easy to prep when you follow the steps I’ve shared. And we are having Peppermint Chocolate Cake for dessert!
Merry Christmas!
Thursday:
Leftovers – What a perfect day to relax a little and enjoy some of the food you cooked for Christmas!
Friday:
Skillet Lasagna: This recipe is also in my cookbook and is one of our family favorites – and Iโve heard many of you enjoy it too. Itโs on the table in less than 30 minutes and itโs so delicious! I have a video that shows how simple it is to make!
I hope that you and your loved ones have a very Merry Christmas!
