Simple Honey Soy Pork Chops Recipe from addapinch.com

There is just something so satisfying and comforting about serving pork chops for supper. I’m sure it goes back to my childhood when Mama would serve them for Sunday suppers with plates piled high with side dishes. I love how versatile good ol’ pork chops are anytime though.

My family loves both my honey soy chicken recipe and my honey soy pork tenderloin so much that I knew they’d enjoy these honey soy pork chops – and I was right! Full of flavor, yet so simple to prepare, this is one recipe that everyone loves.

If I’m going to be busy out or around the house, I just toss everything into my slow cooker and let it do all the work for me. But, if I’m home in time, I also love to prepare this recipe quickly using my cooktop and the oven. Either way produces moist, tender, and delicious pork chops, but I love the versatility of the recipe to use it whichever way makes the most sense for the sort of day I have ahead of me!

  1. I make this every now and then and my husband flips out! I make double the sauce and make white rice with it and it’s gone at the end of the night.

    1. You will want to thaw the pork chops, then proceed with the recipe instructions. Hope you enjoy! xo

I tried this tonight with my family and it was a hit! We will definitely be making this again!

We have 3 members in our family with Celiac Disease so I replaced the regular soy sauce with GF soy sauce. I needed to make my own Montreal Steak seasoning but there are lots of recipes online for that.

I cooked this with a side of rice. While making the porkchops in the skillet, I made a pot of rice and also put a pan in the oven to start to heat up (as our stove skillet is not oven safe). When the porkchops were browned, I transferred them into the pan which was in the oven and poured the sauce over it.

Then using The now empty skillet I cooked a few pieces of bacon, removed and diced them. Last I added the bacon and rice into the skillet to pick up all of the pork and bacon juices.

    1. Hi Emily,
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Your meal sounds so delicious! If you would like to try it, I use my Stone House Seasoning in so many recipes – and love it on steak and many other meats too. Thanks!

  3. This looks delicious and I love that I can make it several different ways. I do have a question…I’m getting several meals ready to freeze for my daughter who’s pregnant with my 4th grandchild. Do you think I can mix all this and put in freezer bag? That would give her a meal she can fix in crockpot, skillet, oven or grill. Thanks for the great recipes!! Can’t wait to hear from you!!

    1. Hi Patty,
How exciting to have a new grandchild coming into the family! Congratulations to your family!
How helpful freezer meals will be for her! Yes – you can mix all of this, place in freezer bag or container and it should last for up to 3 months.
I hope she enjoys it! All my best to you!
      Thanks! xo
