Watermelon Feta Bites Recipe make a favorite appetizer for summer! Juicy watermelon, tangy feta, topped with a balsamic glaze makes a party perfect bite for all your celebrations and gatherings!
Watermelon Feta Bites make one of the easiest little appetizers in the world. And they make the perfect little bite of summer, too.
Watermelon Feta Bites Recipe
In just a few minutes, you can have a tray full of these fabulous Watermelon Feta appetizers prepared and ready to serve. But the best part is that they can easily be made ahead of when you need them for your party to make things even easier on you.
How to Make
Assemble each appetizer bite with two cubes of watermelon and sandwich a cube of feta cheese between them. Refrigerate the tray of these if not ready to serve. Then, right before serving, you simply drizzle them with balsamic glaze. The combination of flavors is absolutely scrumptious and always makes this a hit at any gathering!
One of the best things about this warm-weather favorite appetizer is that they can easily be made ahead of time! And when you are planning a gathering or celebration, I find that any make ahead foods help me so much and makes things even easier.
I like to make my Homemade Balsamic Glaze for this recipe (among many other recipes). If you wish to buy it pre-made, you can generally find it in the grocery store in the same area as the balsamic vinegar.
And if you’ve seen my watermelon salad with watermelon vinaigrette recipe then you know I’m trying to enjoy my sweet watermelon while I can.
And believe me, this is one more delicious way to enjoy the bounty of that juicy, delicious watermelon.
Here’s my Watermelon Feta Appetizer Bites recipe. They are great for your next get together.
Watermelon Feta Appetizer Bites Recipe
- 2 cups cubed watermelon
- 1 (10-ounce package) Feta cheese, cut into cubes
- balsamic glaze
- Assemble watermelon feta appetizer bites by layering a cube of watermelon, then feta cheese, and then topping it with another cube of watermelon onto a cocktail skewer or toothpick.
- If making ahead of time, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until about 15-25 minutes before serving.
- Just before serving, drizzle with balsamic glaze.
Prepare Watermelon Feta Bites without adding the balsamic glaze drizzle. Store, in an airtight container or covered with plastic wrap, in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Before serving, drizzle with balsamic glaze.

I have always wondered what kind of balsamic glaze to get and where to get it. Any help with this would be great
How do u make the glaze?
Got rave reviews when I served them! I found the feta easier to skewer, without crumbling, after letting it warm up for 15 – 20 min.
I’ve looking for some bite sized entertaining recipes, so was very happy to see this recipe! thank you for this, great idea and great tip on balsamic glaze and even where to find it in the grocery store, love the sweet sour even savory combination!
I hope you enjoy this, Sabrina! It’s so perfect for summer entertaining and snacking! Thanks so much for stopping by to say hello – enjoy the recipes! xo
Looks great!! How far ahead can you make them?
I think the watermelon is best when fresh, so I’d probably make it within a few days of serving and refrigerate in an airtight container to maintain freshness. If you refrigerate, I think I’d wait until closer to time to serve to drizzle with the glaze.
Thanks! I hope you enjoy it!
What type of feta do you recommend? I keep trying to skewer and it crumbles.
