Meal Plan Tips:
Saturday:
Buffalo Chicken Dip – What a delicious, hearty dip to enjoy today as we watch a little football or just enjoy spending time with family and friends! I’ll make this in the slow cooker and keep warm for snacking before supper. You can also make this in the oven if you only have one slow cooker and will be using it for the pulled pork.
Best Pulled Pork Sandwiches: So easy to put in the slow cooker and let it do the cooking for you! We love to use my Homemade BBQ Sauce on these delicious sandwiches!
Coleslaw: So quick and easy to make, it’s also perfect to make ahead. Tastes great piled on the pulled pork sandwiches!
Sunday:
Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf: Absolutely delicious, this is so easy to mix up earlier in the day and place in the fridge until ready to cook it.
Easy Mashed Potatoes: These family favorite mashed potatoes are so easy to make ahead if you want. They can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container, then reheated in the oven as instructed in the recipe. They are so easy, I often just make them while I’m preparing supper.
Squash Casserole: This recipe has been a family favorite for generations. And it is so make ahead friendly too! You can make it ahead, leaving off the cracker topping, and add the topping right before ready to bake. So delicious!
Fried Okra: I like to cook this right before serving but I will prep the okra ahead and have ready in the fridge.
Tuesday:
Easy Barbacoa: Another slow cooker favorite! To save time in the morning, just add the ingredients to the crockpot insert and refrigerate. Take it out in the morning, place insert back into the slow cooker, set the timer and go! We plan to eat it with tortillas, some avocado slices and my Salsa. Itโs also delicious in nachos, great in tacos, with rice or on a salad. It is great for leftovers and freezes well too!
Salsa (Restaurant Style): So deliciously fresh and takes only minutes to make, but I keep it in the fridge a lot because we eat it so often.
Wednesday:
White Chicken Chili: I’ll put all the ingredients in the slow cooker insert and refrigerate overnight. Then in the morning, just put the insert back in the slow cooker and start it cooking. It’s such a delicious chili that my whole family enjoys!
Thursday:
Swedish Meatballs: They’ve been a family favorite for so many years and make a great appetizer too! If you want to get a head start on supper, you can go ahead and form the meatballs and refrigerate until ready to proceed with supper.
Slow Cooker Green Beans: So easy, yet so full of flavor! Just pop everything in the slow cooker insert the night before, refrigerate, then set in the slow cooker in the morning, set the timer and let it cook during the day.
Have a great week!
