Maytag Wedge Salad

Maytag wedge salads are about as simple and delicious as any salad I can imagine. Have you ever had one? Crisp, crunchy and creamy in every little bite. It is definitely one of the easiest salads you can make and works well for lunch or as a salad to serve along with your meal at dinner. You can add other items to your salad, like small cherry tomatoes or a sprinkle of bacon. But really, there is absolutely no need to do so.

Looks fabulous! I had never ventured into the wedge salads until we were on vacation this summer… But, I had one and absolutely loved it! I love things with crunch, and this is sure to be a new favorite!

You’ve hit my current craving! I was so hungry for blue cheese yesterday – made a snack plate of fresh raw veggies for myself and my 3YO – blue cheese dressing dip for me, ranch dip for her. Your salad looks like the perfect side for dinner this evening!

I had a friend that raved about wedge salads at a restaurant he went to so I went to try one. Unfortunately it just wasn’t a good one. BUT I love the idea of a wedge vs. pulling it all apart. So much easier and blue cheese with more blue cheese sounds really good. I’ll have to try it out.

There is nothing better with a steak than a perfectly constructed wedge salad! Delish!

I LOVE the wedge salad, love it. However I like mine with some fresh ground pepper and some fresh chopped tomato. I’m craving this now, so hopefully I’ll get one in Jamaica! (less than 24 hours until I leave!)

Mom used to make this salad alot when I was a kid. And the funny thing is she served it on Blue Willow Plates…just like you. Giggles I had to do a double take. Is my Mom there?
