Remember the Fudge Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting that I tempted you all with? Yeah, I thought you might remember that gorgeous little piece of confection.

Well, I had a little bit of that delicious peanut butter frosting left over after I’d made the cake. Yes, once again, I made more than I needed. I could easily have just made another fudge cake to go with it, but I decided to do something else with that extra frosting I had on hand. I’d made some of Little Buddy’s favorite chocolate chip cookies a few days earlier and knew just what I wanted to make — chocolate chip peanut butter doozies.

Here’s how we made them.

  1. At first I thought these cookies were Chipwiches – OMG those used to be my favorite. Love this idea with the PB frosting. Decadent & delish!

  2. Now THAT’s the proper way to use up extra frosting! Man does that look good! I could easily devour one.

  3. I love chocolate and peanut butter. Those look dangerous but in an incredibly awesome way. My niece and nephew would think I’m the best aunt ever if I made those for them.

  4. You made me fall in love with those sweets. Those chocolate ships with those peanut butter frostings are so mouth watering. Add some chocolate syrup to make it so so so sweet! LOL.
