Meal Plan Tips:
Saturday:
Easy BBQ Chicken Sandwiches: These are some of the easiest, most delicious sandwiches! I’m making these for tailgating tonight and I’ll make my chicken in my slow cooker. You can also make this recipe on your stove top and Instant Pot.
Homemade BBQ Sauce: I’ll have made ahead and in the fridge. We use it throughout the week on so many dishes!
Coleslaw: This crowd favorite coleslaw recipe goes perfectly with these sandwiches. It’s easy to make ahead too!
S’mores Bars: Have mercy-these are amazing! I’ll either make the night before or in the morning. Hopefully they will last until dessert!
Sunday:
Rosemary Chicken Salad: I’ve made some extra chicken on Saturday for this salad today. And I’ve already made my Rosemary Ranch Dressing ahead too.
Apple Crisp: The best apple crisp ever and always a hit, it’s really easy to make! I’ll serve this warm for supper, but honestly I love it cold too.
Monday:
Creole Shrimp and Grits: Such a favorite from the cookbook! I will make the slow cooker version of my grits, but you can also use your instant pot if you wish. The creole shrimp is easy to whip up so I’ll make it right before supper.
House Salad: I’ll make this ahead, since I keep house salad ready in my fridge for the week. But it only takes a jiffy to make if you make it right before supper.
Wednesday:
Chicken Taco Soup: Scrumptious and simple to make, this can be made on the stove top, in the slow cooker or Instant Pot. It’s easy to make it ahead if you want, too.
Chocolate Sugar Cookies: A chocolate lover’s dream version of my soft, yet chewy sugar cookies! I’ll make earlier in the day or the evening before. So delish!
Thursday:
Swedish Meatballs: These family favorites meatballs make a satisfying supper as well as a delicious appetizer. I’ll form my meatballs ahead earlier in the day or the night before and refrigerate until ready to cook them for supper.
Slow Cooker Green Beans: Such an easy way to enjoy this favorite vegetable, we eat this dish often. I’ll get everything in my slow cooker insert the night before, stick in the fridge, then pop into the slow cooker in the morning, set it to cook and enjoy later for supper!
