Meal Plan Tips:
Saturday – Chili/Soup Supper – Tailgating:
Instant Pot Chili: Such an easy, delicious chili! Ready in 30 minutes yet tastes like it’s been simmering for hours.
White Chicken Chili: I’ll put all the ingredients in my slow cooker in the morning and let this cook while I go about my day. My recipe instructions are also detailed to include cooking this chili on the stovetop or in your Instant Pot.
Slow Cooker Black Bean Soup: Another slow cooker favorite soup that’s so delicious, satisfying and easy! Let it cook during the day while I do other things. I’ll prep all of my chili and soup fixings for tonight’s Chili/Soup Supper ahead of time and keep in the fridge.
Sunday:
Skillet Steaks: These steaks are ready in 25 minutes! Restaurant wait times are usually longer than this!
Perfect Baked Potato: You can make these ahead and reheat or if you prefer, you can use the slow cooker method instead.
House Salad: I keep salad in the fridge to eat during the week, so I’ll make extra today when I make this salad.
Spinach Artichoke Dip: This can be prepped ahead, stored in the fridge then popped in the oven right before serving.
Tuesday:
Shrimp Scampi: You can replace the traditional pasta in this scampi with my favorite olive oil and garlic zucchini noodles if you’d like! Either way, this is a quick meal that’s elegant and delicious! Always one of our favorites!
Wednesday:
Baked Chicken Breasts: Easy, delicious and ready in 30 minutes! I’m making extra to use for tomorrow’s supper.
Slow Cooker Green Beans: So easy to make these flavorful slow cooker beans, but you can go ahead and prepare them in the insert, place in the fridge overnight, then start the slow cooker in the morning.
Thursday:
Chicken Avocado Pear Salad: A quick salad recipe that is ready in less than 30 minutes. You could cook your bacon and chicken up to three days ahead and then just reheat to cut the time even more. And since I baked extra chicken on Wednesday, tonight’s supper is extra easy!
