Homemade Strawberry Milk is made with your favorite dairy or non-dairy milk along with homemade strawberry syrup for a sweet, refreshing treat!
Homemade strawberry milk is perfect for Valentine’s Day, birthdays, Mother’s Day or just the random weekday morning you want to make something special for your kids!
Err…. or yourself.
With just a few ingredients, you’ll be able to whip up this fun, pink, delicious strawberry milk that even the pickiest little eater will love.
First, you’ll start by using my delicious homemade strawberry syrup. I love to make this ahead throughout strawberry season and store in the refrigerator to quickly add to milk for this strawberry milk.
Then, I just add a few tablespoons of the chilled strawberry syrup to a glass of ice cold milk and stir until it is well combined.
If I’m making more than one serving, I’ll add the milk and enough of the strawberry syrup for each of the servings into my blender and have it ready to pour into about 10 seconds!
You can’t beat that!
It’s the perfect addition to a fun breakfast and definitely goes great with pancakes, waffles, or my strawberry and cream stuffed French toast or fresh strawberry cake!
You’ve just got to try it!

What particular milk and brand you used?
I typically use whole milk when I make this. Thanks!
Hi Robyn,
My Son would sooo love this. I have two questions about storage. Do you happen to know if this syrup is able to be canned for longish term storage? and if it is how long will it keep? Okay make that three questions. Hoe long will this syrup keep in the fridge? Have a wonderful and safe weekend!
Hi Lenore,
The strawberry syrup keeps well for me in the refrigerator. We use it for so many dishes that we use it in a week. I feel sure it would keep longer. Another idea would be to pour the strawberry syrup into an ice cube tray and freeze into individual cubes, then pour those into a zip top freezer bag. When you are ready to use the syrup, just thaw completely, give it a quick stir and use as normal. Hope that helps!
Robyn, I love this!!
How many servings do you think this recipe with the 2 c strawberries will make? We are going to make this for my son’s class Valentine’s party and I need to know how much I should make if we do 3 Tbsp syrup and 8 oz of milk for each kid.
Thanks!
Hey Sara,
I usually get about 1 1/4 – 1 1/2 cups of strawberry syrup. For 1 1/2 cups that would give you about 24 tablespoons, or 8 servings for this strawberry milk. Hope that helps!
Thank you! This will be fun!
Can you sub the sugar for honey? How long can you store the syrup?
Talk about delish looking! I would love a glass!
