Mingle Monday {11-28-11}

Welcome Back to Mingle Monday!

We’re in full Christmas swing around here since Thanksgiving! I’ve packed away our turkey decor and pulled out the nutcrackers, stockings, and am ready to start crafting, cooking, and watching all those favorite Christmas movies!

Here are a few of my favorite Christmas crafts that my family absolutely adores that I bet you would enjoy, too.

Salt Dough Ornaments and Tags

Salt Dough Ornaments

Creating Christmas crafts with salt dough is one of my all time favorite things to do! It’s the perfect way to combine my love of cooking with my drop of craftiness! But instead of making ornaments, I think we’ll try our hand at making something different this year and making gift tags. Wish us luck!

Making these ornaments always has my house smelling so delicious! We usually make these for friends and family as well as for our own tree each year. Won’t these be cute as little hang tags around little gift bags?

Hand Wreath Art

I can not tell you how much I absolutely adore this hand wreath art Little Buddy made when he was in preschool. It is absolutely one of my favorite things! It would make a wonderful present to make with your children for grandparents or to have for yourself. Those little hand prints don’t stay little long!
