Simple, yet delicious Homemade Three Cheese White Pizza recipe that rivals your favorite pizzeria! The best homemade pizza dough is topped with rich cheeses and baked to golden, cheesy perfection!

Golden brown crust edges on a cheesy Three Cheese White Pizza that's been sliced and is being lifted with server.

Homemade pizza has always been a favorite in our house – especially where my son is concerned. If I ask him what he’d like for supper, I can count on this Three Cheese White Pizza being his answer many times. And I’m always happy to make it because it’s so scrumptious – and simple to make!

But don’t let the simplicity of this pizza be a measure of how delicious it is. It only takes a few minutes of hands-on prep time to make the homemade pizza dough and then make the pizzas. It’s easy enough that anyone can make it any time the pizza craving strikes!

Pizza Dough recipe – Make one full recipe, which yields enough for two 14-inch pizza crusts.

Ricotta, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses

How to Make Three Cheese White Pizza

For this recipe, I skip using my pizza sauce recipe. Instead, I use ricotta cheese as my base and spread it onto my homemade pizza dough, top it with big hunks of mozzarella and then with parmesan that I grate right over the top.

Prep. Drizzle olive oil onto a baking sheet pan or a pizza pan and place pizza dough onto the pan. Drizzle additional oil onto the dough.

Add the cheeses. Using a rubber spatula or the back of a spoon, spread the ricotta cheese over the crust, leaving an edge to the dough for the crust. Then add the mozzarella slices and top with the Parmesan cheese.

Bake. Place into the preheated oven and bake as directed until the pizza crust is golden brown and the cheese melts and begins to bubble.

Serve. Once the pizza is done, remove it from the oven, slice, and serve.

Once I take it out of the oven, I work quickly because everyone is ready for fresh, hot pizza at my house! I like to serve a huge house salad or Caesar salad with it.

This simple pizza recipe works perfectly for pizza night at home, tailgating with friends and family, or even for entertaining. Just be sure to make extra! It goes quickly!

I made this for dinner tonight using fresh premade pizza dough. I added an olive tapenade on the pieces I ate. It needed some seasoning. Otherwise a keeper!

I made this for dinner tonight, and it was a huge hit! The only thing I did differently was to mix some garlic with the olive oil before spreading it on the crust. Also, my son liked a sprinkle of Italian seasoning on top of his pieces, but everyone else liked the pizza as is. Thanks so much for sharing this terrific recipe.

Oh, yum! Homemade pizza has always been one of my favorite foods, and I’m definitely a cheese lover. I’m going to have to give this recipe a try sometime. That picture looks amazing. My parents used to make pizza every Friday night, and I’m thinking that might be a really fun tradition to start with my kids. Thanks for sharing!

Pizza is a staple in my house, I know not totally healthy but we LOVE it. Where I’m from, upstate NY, a white pizza means instead of red sauce they dough is lightly oil then spread with minced garlic & oregano. This 3 cheese one looks awesome! I would add my seasoning though ?

    1. Robyn Stone says:

The addition of the seasonings would be fabulous, I think! Hope you enjoy it!

I like the change from sauce to ricotta cheese for the base. That does make for a yummy pizza.
