This past week was pie week and has just made me down right hungry for pie. The celebration over our beloved pies has not disappointed. I kicked off the week with my family’s favorite recipe for Classic Pecan Pie.
By the sliver or the slice, pies are just a Thanksgiving tradition I look forward to enjoying. So, I thought I’d share with you many of the pies I feasted my eyes on this week.
I’ve started my list with some options for crust and then categorized the pies by type.

Thanks, Michelle! It’s my go-to from here on out!
wow….what a LIST!!! I think I just gained 10 pounds!
I will bring 4 pies for Thanksgiving – pumpkin, pecan (required by the hostess), mince (required by my uncle) and one wild-card pie. This year, it will be apple cranberry. In the past it has been a quince and pomegranate tart, chocolate cream pie and tangerine chiffon. I like to mix it up!
What a great list (and idea)… I’ve been bookmarking recipes I come across and want to try and then dividing them into different folders {breakfast, main dish, dessert, etc.}. I’m off to look at these pie crust links before I start baking this morning. Thanks!
